Beyond the Decision Room

The right people make one another more valuable.

Each room brings together deliberately selected MedTech leaders from complementary therapeutic areas. Their different experiences sharpen the conversation, challenge assumptions, and expand the relationships you carry beyond the cohort.

The room is where it starts. The relationships are what compound.

Who it's for

Leaders who recognize the decisions you carry.

Experienced MedTech commercial leaders across the United States and Canada, matched by leadership responsibility and decision altitude — not job title alone.

Why the room works

Three kinds of value, every time you're in the room.

Learn from your own challenges — and from the ones your peers have already faced.

01

Immediate

Here & now

Solve the problem in front of you. Leave with clarity on your next decision.

02

Transferable

Shared experience

One leader brings the challenge. Everyone gains something to apply.

03

Anticipatory

Before it happens

Learn from leadership challenges before they become your own.

“Someone else's problem can become your insight — before it's ever your problem.”

How it works

The conversation isn't the outcome. The Loop is.

Pressure-test a real decision. Put it into practice. Return in 30 days with what changed. The problems are unpredictable. The process is repeatable. The learning compounds.

  1. STEP 1

    Decisions

Bring a live challenge and pressure-test it with the room.

  2. STEP 2

    Fieldwork

Put the decision into practice with your team.

  3. STEP 3

    Accountability

Return in 30 days and report what happened.

  4. STEP 4

    Go again

Take on the next challenge. The cycle repeats monthly.

The question every member answers

“Having heard the room, what specifically are you going to do differently, and by when?”

No invented curriculum

The members are the curriculum.

No predetermined monthly topics. No fictional case studies. Members bring the real problems; the room creates the conversation. Experienced practitioners contribute perspective — not keynotes.

We're not here to observe leadership. We're here to practice it.

Real problems, brought by members
The agenda is what leaders are navigating right now.
Peers at your decision altitude
Twelve leaders who carry decisions like yours.
Practitioner perspective
Experienced voices contribute to the conversation, not lectures.
Trust is the foundation

What's shared in the room stays in the room.

Private, live virtual sessions. Never recorded. Members are expected to protect one another's confidentiality. The Lockbook preserves anonymized leadership learning — not identifiable people, companies, or comments.

The details

Frequently asked questions

Have a question not answered here? Book a fit conversation.

Who are the two rooms designed for?

The Executive Commercial Leader room is for leaders carrying broader organizational and strategic decisions. The Field Sales Leader room emphasizes frontline teams and execution. Topics can overlap; placement is based on the level of judgment and responsibility, not title alone.

How are members selected?

We begin with a fit conversation or an application. Members are considered based on leadership scope, experience, availability, willingness to contribute, and the composition of the room. Applying does not guarantee placement.

Do I need to bring a problem every month?

No. Every member is expected to participate, but not everyone needs to present a challenge at each session. You also gain transferable and anticipatory value from other members' problems.

Are conversations confidential?

Sessions are private and are not recorded. Members are expected to protect the confidentiality of people, companies, and situations discussed. The Lockbook contains only generalized, anonymized lessons and frameworks.

What if I miss a session?

There are no recordings. You will still receive your cohort's completed Lockbook, but consistent live participation is important to the relationships and accountability that make the room valuable.

What does the membership include?

Live, private virtual Decision Room sessions, a curated peer cohort, practitioner perspectives, fieldwork and accountability, a Capstone Conversation in the spring season, and a professionally bound cohort Leadership Lockbook.

What happens after I apply?

Your background and availability are reviewed for cohort fit. Appropriate applicants may be invited to a fit conversation before membership and placement are confirmed.

The right conversation.
The right peers. The right moment.
